Our theme park adventurer could hardly sleep the night before Dollywood. We previewed our attractions the weeks leading up to our trip. Miller memorized his height at his 6 yr. physical & then took mental notes on the size requirement for the coasters he wanted to conquer. He is brave. On day one, we divided into the Party Crew led by Landon, Uncle Tom & Papa. The little girls crew was championed by all the aunts & Omi. Miller man joined the party crew, although if there was a category in between...it would have been the best fit for our guy.

The Amazing Flying Elephant closely resembled Dumbo. That's what EK called it upon close inspection. Of course, we circled around before deciding on the elephant with the pink tutu.
I loved being this girl's riding partner. She was very bossy with the up and down joystick. Dumbo was bobbing up and down in a spinning circle with our girl behind the controls.
We all rode the Lemon Twist teacups. Surprisingly, Eliza Kate had no fears about any of the rides in the Country Fair section of Dollywood. It was an excellent warm up to a future trip to Disney World.
After naps back at the cabin, the little girls enjoyed painting with Omi. Shirtless was the best way to avoid stains, so that's why EK is barely clothed,
Miller came back with wild winded stories about riding the Tennessee Tornado coaster that flipped him upside down three times. Landon said Miller had a little anxiety in line when he heard it was the fastest coaster in the park, but decided to give it a go anyways. Afterwards, he commented that it was a lot of fun but he didn't think he could do it again:) Nicole purchased stuffed snake souvenirs for the smaller cousins at the park. Miller's still enthralled with his Dollywood reptile sussy.
Miller is all about a wild photo bomb. He likes to hop in the background with the silliest of expressions to make everyone laugh. Where of where does he pick up these antics?
The resort had a pool where we spent most evenings after dinner. Eliza Kate was able to show off what a summer of swim team has earned her. She's now proudly swimming without floaties. Her confidence exploded in Ponte Vedra swimming between Landon and I. Then she all of a sudden made up her mind that she was going to reach and pull & kick, kick, kick just like Coach Beth instructed. We now have a full blown swim girl jumping off the side with no fear! Here's to hoping she doesn't forget her moves over the winter.
Did I mention Miller loving every second of activity? He slept like a rock on this vacation....
