Ok..it sounds more like "uck", but we're excited that Miller aquired a new word. On the way back from music class last week, we stopped by Grandmama and Poppy's house to play. They jump at the chance to see Miller when we're in the neighborhood. Miller is trained to run over to his new play cabinent at their house as soon as his feet touch the floor. He gravitates to his favorite cardboard book that is shaped just like a dumptruck. Grandmama kept repeating "truck? Miller do you want your truck? That's your truck...etc. Well, he caught on and now puts the book in our hands and says "uck".

Our goal now is to show him the connection between the print version of a truck and the actual thing. Also, that there are ALL kinds of trucks. He just LOVES to watch the garbage truck come every Friday. We watch it crunch the trash out the front window...I keep repeating "truck", but it's not bright yellow like the trucks he's used to.
Uncle Clay bought Miller this dumptruck a few months back. He just loves to walk it around the yard hauling whatever he can find. Occasionally, he'll sit in the truck to rest. It's the cutest thing to hear Miller imitate the sounds a truck makes by saying "vroooom, hmmmmm" when he's driving the "uck". We have "cah" and "uck" under our belts. I see a trend on Miller's words...things that GO and things to EAT!! He's just your typical truck lovin' little man!

Love the outfit! We'll have to get the boys together in their "things that go" tees!
