Weekend Crashers

On Friday while Landon and I were getting our house in tip top shape inside and outside for another showing on Saturday, we looked outside and saw some surprise visitors sauntering up our driveway. Our immediate thought was," Oh no, a surprise showing with our paint can and drop cloth out" We were shocked that Laurel, Chad and baby Merideth drove all the way from Knoxville for an impromptu visit. They planned a spontaneous trip to the GA Aquarium and came to hang out with us. Lucky for me, our house was already spotless and we had no firm plans for Friday and Saturday, so we could actually hang out with our weekend crashers. Laurel entered the door repeating, "Don't worry, we're not staying the night here!" Although, we would have just loved it! Sometimes the best visits are the ones that just fall into place with little planning.

Saturday evening we enjoyed a night of eating out at our favorite Greek restaurant and ice cream out at Brusters. Miller enjoyed his first earthworm and dirt sundae. We had to laugh because he turned his head away at first glance thinking that his dessert was actual dirt.

We're excited to join the family in Knoxville next weekend when Landon's Aunt Gayle and Uncle Chip are in town from Arizona. Miller just loves having cousin time!
