Let Freedom Ring

Happy 4th of July! Landon got an early start to all the celebrating by waking up at the crack of dawn to run a 5K in downtown Woodstock. Sadly, we were cheering for him in our beds. Despite the lack of fan support, we were so proud of him for finishing 71st out of 800+ runners. The Kenyans won 1st again. Go Daddy!
Next year, we hope to meet up with Landon for the big Independence Day Parade around the town square after the race. We just love our community!

We celebrated at the Fays 5th annual 4th cookout this evening. They've been hosting this fun get together way before we had little ones running all around. In fact, we used to make it an afternoon pool bash before the cook out, but nap times have interferred with our grand plans! Dinner was fantastic and Miller loved chasing Miss Allie around. And, you guessed it, he stole a kiss or three!

What 4th of July would be complete without the Roswell Fireworks display? We've been talking up the "firecracker..boom, boom" as Miller calls it, for days now. We found just the right spot to spread out our blankets to watch the show. This is no easy task with 8 couples and 6 babies. Miller slowed down just in time to enjoy the beautiful fireworks! What a fun fourth!

Gone are the days of a sitting group shot for Mr. Independence! This was the best I could do for our little camera striker.

You are so brave keeping Miller up for the firecrackers! Poor Jack is going to 5 years old by the time he sees them:) Happy 4th! It looks like you all had a great time!
