Miller and I hosted a fun lunch & play on this very HOT Wednesday in Georgia. Lisbeth, Allie & soon -to- be baby Michael, and Brittany & baby Hinson joined us for the noontime fun. These mommas are longtime college friends & sorority sisters that live closeby. It was 6 week old Hinson's very first playdate! Allie and Miller enjoyed chasing eachother all over the house and up and down the stairs giggling. What a treat to eat the same lunch side by side.
We rolled out the Play Doh for some indoor fun to avoid the scorching heat. Both toddlers are learning the art of keeping the Play Doh out of their mouths. The kiddos enjoyed using the aquarium stampers and rollers, occasionally stopping their play for a nice lick of the Play Doh! Mmm..yum! Hinson sat at the table and had a front row seat to all of the action.
When it was time to say our goodbyes, Allie and Miller gave eachother a sweet hug and quite a long kiss. I must admit that it's hard for me to squeeze a hug out of Miller much less a peck on the lips. He does occasionally lean in when I say, "Can mommy have some yum yums? There's just something about that Miss Allie that gets Miller to pucker up!
