Go Fish

Today was our big family field trip to the GA Aquarium, an early Father's Day outing for Landon. Great fun was had by all. We strolled right in early this morning with our printed passes bypassing the long lines. It took us about 2 hours to see everything we wanted to explore at the exhibits. Of course, chasing Miller cut down on the time we had to read all of the fishy facts written around the tanks. Our faves included viewing the impressive whale shark fish tank. This exhibit captured Miller's full attention and he sat entertained munching on fishy crackers for 20 minutes or so. We hit the tank right at feeding time, so it was really cool to watch all the sea life eat their lunch. It caused quite a stir in the tank!

Miller was also really impressed with the "cuba diver". He laughed right out loud watching the diver swim with the brightly colored fish in the tank. We couldn't leave without taking our picture with Nemo lookalike "Deepo", named after the corporate sponser Home Depot. Miller loved this orange fishy from afar, but wasn't truly a fan up close. Grandmama and Poppy visited the gift shop and surprised Miller with a fish puzzle and souveneir book to help us remember our trip. Looking forward to our next trip!
