Miller enjoyed a fun filled play date at Jack's on Thursday. Jack and his momma are party people. They love hosting fantastic play dates at their house. While Miller didn't get to enjoy the tasty pizza, I sure did. He was greeted by familiar friends that he's played with throughout the months. Meg immediately ventured over to welcome Miller with a hug. She' s such a little love bug...so friendly to adults and babies. Miller just loves to explore Jack's playroom. He roams from toy to toy and shelf to shelf looking for something new and different to tickle his fancy. It's a nice place for mommies to chat because everything is in a closed off baby proof place.
Jack & Miller enjoyed a friendly jaunt over who would play with which toy. We're starting the phase of learning how to share already!! Even if they don't understand the concept..little by little they'll catch on. These boys used to grab toys from one another's grasp back and forth without as much as a wimper. But- now we're crossing over into the phase of "mine"! Meg decided that it was her nap time and promptly hugged everyone in the room goodbye...She has such social grace at almost 2 years old!!
With nap time looming, it was time to get Miller home for his 2:15 nap. This play date party pooper needed some zzz's to recover from his afternoon of fun. Speaking of good etiquette...Jack waved goodbye to all the guests from his front doorstep. Thanks Jack for having us over to play...you're such a good host.
