Last Days of 2's

May is a whirlwind of a month. Everything comes to a close. And, with all of the activities & school grand finale endings-- comes parties and all kinds of hoopla. One "see you next year" goodbye was the last week of Eliza Kate's 2 year old class. Their end of the year party was a beach theme {still waiting on pictures} of her last party...stay tuned:)

We contributed to her teacher's corporate gift but still felt it necessary to pack sussies for the teachers on the last day. Chocolate covered strawberries-- a sweet reminder of the kindness of Ms. Kelli & Ms. Mary Jo. We truly couldn't have picked better teachers for our girl. The happiness of their good morning greetings and the love shown to our baby was so appreciated.

She was so very proud to walk these little happy baskets in on the last day. One advantage of the three day a week program for our little missy was the growth in social interaction & confidence. She knew her colors and shapes from day one, but needed opportunities for sharing and social skills. It truly was a wonderful year and both teacher's gave her the warmth & security she needed as we moved. Another change was giving up her mommy to a full time teaching job for eight weeks. There were big transitions in her little world mid- year & the one routine that remained constant was her classroom and teachers. For that we're so grateful.

Eliza Kate has grown in self confidence as she strolls through "her" school. She's growing up before our eyes-- stepping out from behind my legs in shyness to walk in confidence into the room. It has been quite the 2 year old transformation this year. She's more than ready for the 3's!!

One last picture on the last day of preschool with her sweet friend Ambry and Ms. Kelli. Pink and green were the colors of the day. Good friends think alike:) Summer is here!
