We visited Santa....at Phipps!
And, nobody cried!
Just happy snappy children..the way Santa likes them!
It was in the middle of the night in early October, that this mom of two begrudgingly rolled out of the comforts of her bed to make this very special appointment online. The spots for the whole season filled up in 48 hours for this particular VIP;) Afterall, it's not everyday that "Santa Claus is coming to town!"

This was our year for the wish list visit on Santa's lap. Miller's the perfect age of 3 1/2 & all of a sudden loves Santa and Eliza Kate is too young to be scared. Yes, it's just perfect timing. I've waited patiently to make the mall trip..year after year avoiding the trip because I knew Miller would abort the mission in a dramatic state of refusal. We've tortured him with informal visits that prompts very scary and serious looking photographs for the first two years of life.

The visit was magical to say the least. Miller was in awe and Eliza Kate couldn't stop admiring Santa's immaculately groomed beard. Upon closer look, it was a hair sprayed and curled beard, shallacked for perfect pictures. Eliza Kate even reached out and gave it an innocent tug. No clip ons for this Santa. He's the real deal.
Then it was formal picture time. The photographer held up a stuffed Elmo to get some smiles. Miller kept shouting cheese with an awkward face, but we got a winner in the end. I can't wait to view the DVD to listen to Miller's wish list. It keeps growing as the days go on!
More pictures by the tree!
Daddy joined us for a lunch date with Santa! I'm thinking we just started a brand new tradition. That is..until the little miss decides she doesn't like Santa!
