Evening on the Square
The Marietta Square was our destination of choice on this beautiful Atlanta Saturday. We met up with Grandmama and Poppy at our favorite corner spot, The Marietta Pizza Kitchen. It was so nice to eat along the sidewalk and watch all the hustle & bustle of pedestrians and traffic. Motorcycles, trains, cars, and the music entertained us while we enjoyed our dinner. Miller always gives us the play by play like a little sports commentator on what he's observing, just in case we miss something in our adult conversation.
Little did we know that we were joining a pretty happening rock n' roll concert tonight. Everyone had their blankets and chairs inside the park to watch a live band sing some all time favorites. After dinner, we ventured over to Miller's favorite, the Choo Choo train playscape. He had a big time climbing and "conducting" the train. He just couldn't decide what to do with his engineer's hat. He wore it sideways, backwards, and down around his nose. It was on and off and back on and off. But, don't try to hold that hat for this conductor. Miller just had to wear it to fit the part. What a character!
To top it all off, we moseyed on over to Greenberg's Ice Cream Shoppe. Miller was enthralled by the old fashioned choo choo train that ran around the shop. We enjoyed our scoops while Miller's baby blues followed the moving train all around the parlor.
We're excited about summer around here. Looking forward to more fun filled family outings!

We thought about going to that event Saturday night! Our Saturday was too packed and we had two tired kiddos, so we didn't make it. Glad you guys had fun!!
