The baby of the family is growing up way too fast. One new right of passage into the 3 year old potty trained way of life is the drop off playdate. Emory {from down the street} invited Eliza Kate over for a drop off playdate & then it was our turn to host. She had big plans for her first friend to come over.
Eliza Kate has been watching the revolving door of Miller's friends that have come over in the neighborhood with slight envy for some time anticipating her turn. She finally joined the big girl's club of house hopping.
Bubbles--bubble princess wands, bubble guns, and bubble sticks. The bubble blowing evolved into bubble twirling. We're learning all about the way girl's like to play oh -so -gently with a dash of femininity. It's a wonderful thing.
Dress-up--Oh, how we've entered the fun stage of dress up that girls just never fully outgrow. There was a mini fashion show in the bonus room involving tutu's, gowns, tiaras, wands, purses & shoes. This was just one look of our afternoon.
And, then they wrapped up the fashion show on the jumpy house in the basement with more twirling & bouncing {wands included}.
Celebrating the new, wonderful season of the drop off playdate for Eliza Kate.
