From babies to birthdays we've been doing a lot of celebrating so far in the month of November. Sweet Lucy was first on the list. Allison, my friend all the way back in the day in high school is expecting a precious bundle of pink in a few months. We attended a shower in a private room at Brio downtown. There is nothing like a shower covered in pink. From ruffled socks to monogrammed burpies this girly will be blessed. Allison was just stunning and truly joyful over this God given gift. We've prayed for this sweet baby as a group for some time. I'm so blessed by these girl's friendships and how we've grown and celebrated each life stage. There has been so much to celebrate over the last 10 plus years...some heartaches too. There's nothing like loyal friends to stick by you through it all.
Today it was all about the joy of Lucy. The napkins read "I Love Lucy". And, we sure do already love you Lucy girl. Pink, pink, pink! Gotta love a girly gift table.
We then trotted over to Kaylee's first cowgirl birthday...same weekend. The Pinions are friends in our Sunday School class. They're originally from Knoxville and big Tennessee fans. This random fact is the icing on the cake for Landon. Every party detail displayed hee haw cuteness from her darling smocked dress to her second outfit. Yes, this first birthday girl had an outfit change mid- party, ya'll! And, I love that her mom just took it all off for cupcake time. Just like Eliza Kate, Miss Kaylee didn't like messy hands during smash cake time.
Kaylee's momma monogrammed our cowgirl cutey's outfit. We're keeping her in business this fall;) Eliza Kate warmed up to Kaylee's "horsey" present in no time. Every cowgirl needs a pony. EK loves hugging all over a cuddly stuffed animal. This one happened to be life sized. She gave a rousing "neighhhhh" to show her love of horsey.
Carson and Miller had their football game on. These rowdy players were tossing the football into pails with such enthusiasm. Can't you see the excitement in Carson's hair?
Jack and Miller put themselves in the "dog house" right around half time at the party They are hilarious to listen to. Boys! Loving this fall party season.
Quarterback cutey Landon's first birthday bash was just the perfect way to wrap up our November celebration tour. What an adorable fall birthday boy theme. The invite requested the guests to "show their school spirit". Miller sported his Samford shirt. Poor Eliza Kate is lacking in the spirit wear department. She sported her turkey dress instead. Not exactly the most natural smile from Miller man, but loved the birthday boy. Can you spy the all star birthday champ in the background? He was downing his water bottle his tiring game.
Maggie and Eliza Kate were lunching ladies while "tailgating" on the sidelines of the action.
It's so refreshing that she likes to sit in her chair to eat. I can trust her to calmly stay in one spot for longer than five minutes. Oh the life of a leisurely lunch. Blurry, blurry.... I'd love a new lens. I've knocked it around so much that it now clicks when I go to focus..ugh!
Gotta love bouncing with Sophia with a frosted face mess. There were all kinds of screams in the bounce house. They were having a BIG time together. Jack and Miller put themselves in the "dog house" right around half time at the party They are hilarious to listen to. Boys! Loving this fall party season.
