Howdy Halloween

Howdy Halloween from our family to yours. We all got into the dressing up spirit this Halloween. Not sure how many Halloweens that I'll be able to match the kiddos, but I took advantage of the opportunity this year. Introducing Old McDonald, his pink accessorized calf, daddy cow, and momma cowgirl. Surprisingly, all we purchased to pull off our look was Miller's overalls and one hot pink bandana. We owned everything else and Landon borrowed the cow get-up last minute...gotta love that!

A quick pose with some of our neighborhood buddies. (L to R Snow White, Super Mario, Jeddi Knight, and Old McDonald) We love the friends on our cul-de sac.
Grant and Miller acting silly before all the treating! Since our kids are so young, the treating kicks off just before 6 o' clock. This was the first year we combed the whole neighborhood for candy. The weather was perfect and we had just enough daylight to work with.
Miller's friend Sophia from preschool and her family joined us for a pregame pizza party and trick or treating. These two are soo cute together, holding hands and knocking door to door. Can they get any cuter?

Sophia's little brother and Eliza Kate enjoyed the Halloween festivities! Grandmama and Poppy came over to pass out candy and entertain our girly calf back at the ranch. We knew she wouldn't be able to keep up with our pace.
The kids on our block traveled from house to house in a group, while the adults hung back at the edge of the driveways. The older crew seemed to be in the lead, but we eventually caught up. It's amazing how we teach our kids, "Never take candy from strangers!"....Now, go run up to their doorway and beg for candy. I love the cautious look on Miller's face in this shot.

Loved every minute of the excitement in Miller's face, the spring in his step, and the wonder of all his candy. Happy Halloween!
