art gallery

The fridge is plastered with all sorts of masterpieces from both of the littles this fall. They compete for surface area {real estate}. Each time a different family member passes our art gallery, EK pauses to show off her daily craft from preschool. Eliza Kate came home today with a Pinterest inspired owl hand print and it did this momma's heart good to observe her sweet hands as owls. She's always telling me "look what I made" on our 1:00 p.m walks to the car. Hand prints are such coveted prizes tucked in the bags of our toddlers. For one day, their sweet, dimpled hand size is frozen in time.

Miller came home with his hand drawn pumpkin from art class at school. He's now getting some more formal training {whew-he needed it} in the school of drawing sketches & arts and crafts. Something about K is getting him more inspired to color and take his time. It looks like he's studying perspective?

On a side note, he smiled when he told me that his favorite school bud said he looked like he was dressed up like a candy corn today--good enough to eat. Some might be sensitive and think they were being made fun of. Not our Miller, he walked a little prouder.

And, because they took the opportunity to love on eachother after my documented pictures, I continued to snap away. Love these two gifts of mine!
