"Miller-isms" at 21 months

At 21 months of age with 3 short months until the big 2, Miller is showing us more & more his independence and personality as a budding 2 year old.
Here are some "Millerisms" we've been seeing around here:

1. Miller loves to say "Ha-men" after grace each night. He continues to repeat it with a huge grin from his high chair after the prayer is over.
2. We have ourselves a Wii baby in training. Miller is part of our little fan club. As we're playing, he surfaces from his playroom for 2-3 minutes at a time to shout,"Yay, dadda!". Then he repeats the video game chant, "Nice,Pare!" whenever we get a spare. Even if he's playing in the other room, he let's us know he's proud by chanting,"Nice, pare!" Miller runs around the room sporting his evolving bowler's arm like he's part of the game. I have a feeling bowling shoes, bumper pads, and a personalized ball is in his near future. Poppy would be SO proud.
3. Our little man is a counting champ. After 2 months of shared counting together, he counts to ten on his own and then claps for himself at 10 and says, "yay!" We're now working on 11-15. We'll see if we can beat Uncle Clay's record of counting to 20 at 2 years old. My mom swears that Sesame Street taught him these basics.
4. Miller is loving his magnetic letter board from Grandmama and Poppy. He loves to pull off each letter and hand it to me naming the color and letter. There are 5 letters that we still need to learn: A,N,E,G,S. Also, K and X confuse him. He calls the letter "Q", an O with a bump!! When he hands me the letter "T", Miller says "T is for truck"!! I give most of the credit to Miss Karen for teaching Miller his letters. She has her whole refrigerator covered in colorful letters and has been practicing with Miller for months. It's definitely a team effort.
5. When it's night night time, Miller says good night to everything in his room. Last night,he even said night night to the Diaper Champ by saying "Night Night stinky poo poo!" Ah..he keeps us laughing!
6.Miller loves to taddle tale on our kitty Jackson. He lets us know when Jackson jumps up on the kitchen counter by saying, "Down kitty, no, no" and then stares back at us to make sure we get the cat down. He loves to get his older brother in trouble.
7. Miller loves to wrestle with Landon each night. He calls it "team rolla" which means steam roller. What a joy to sit back and watch my boys play!

So those are the top seven little anecdotes that I wanted to record before this stage passes us by. We are loving this stage with our little man. Life is sweet!

Here is Miller trying out our foot massager! He thinks it's just another fun toy from Santa Claus.
